I was a client at this clinic for a few years and i always appreciated the care my dog received, but I had a very disappointing experience regarding billing. At my dog’s annual visit, I agreed to a flu shot that was recommended by the vet. I was not informed that returning for the required booster shot would result in a second FULL exam fee, even though my dog was not examined by the veterinarian at that visit. When I received the bill, I was surprised to see an additional exam charge that hadn’t been disclosed. I tried to resolve the issue directly with the office, but instead of addressing it reasonably, they were defensive and eventually sent the disputed charge to collections without further notice. i informed them that charging a second exam fee of an additional 90 dollars for a FOLLOW UP shot was extremely uncalled for. i was in and out of the office all within 5 minutes. my dog never received an exam therefore charging me for a service that was never rendered is extremely unprofessional. I was very disappointed by how the situation was handled, especially after being a loyal client for several years. Transparency and good communication go a long way in maintaining trust. unfortunately, that trust was lost here for me.
